Meet Kirk Weisler
The World’s Foremost Authority on Initiative
Over the past 23 years, more than 80,000 leaders have sought out Kirk Weisler’s work on leadership, culture, and turning ideas into action.
Kirk’s path to the stage is anything but typical. He served as a U.S. Army Ranger and member of the 19th Special Forces, helped launch seven businesses that created more than 1,500 jobs, and has spent two decades helping organizations transform culture from an abstract idea into a daily habit.
He is the founder of The Initiative Institute, author of the bestselling leadership parable The Dog Poop Initiative, and creator of Walkie Talkie Socks—what he calls the world’s most intentional footwear, built on the belief that if you want change, you have to walk your talk.
Kirk has delivered leadership programs around the world and worked with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to medical institutions like Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins, helping leaders build cultures where people step forward, take ownership, and make extraordinary things happen.
He starts most mornings with a three-minute cold plunge, knocks out a thousand pushups a week, and believes innovation begins the moment someone decides to act before they feel ready.
Kirk lives in Arizona with his wife Rebecca and their six children. Read his full story here.
