Can You See it Yet?

There is more in us than we know. If we can be made to see it, perhaps, for the rest of our lives, we will be unwilling to settle for less. — Kurt Hahn
The best leaders help people see better…by helping them have a not just a clearer vision about what is needed, but about how each person is exactly who is needed to accomplish the what.

Very cool. I had just finished reading something one of my authors wrote when, one second later - no exaggeration - your blog came it.
Here is what she has to say on your topic of today:
Sometimes we have to look again at what we’re seeing in order to see just what we’re looking at.
~ Su Boddie
Kinda’ cool coincidence, eh Captain Kirk?

Hmmmm….wish you could have posted that last week. I could have used the encouragement. But now that I have survived the crisis and came out still standing on both feet it is kind of ironic that I am reading this blog today. I probably would not have believed it last week. I have grown since last week, and can not only appreciate it this week, but even laugh a little now. Just focusing on breathing and not freaking out was the best I could do last week. Like the song says “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”. I am grateful that I had some good friends and family that kept tilting me in the right direction when my self doubt caused me to teeter. Even when you’ve worked hard to not need a support system, encouragers are nice to have around. It’s not always going to be sunshine and rainbows, but what stuck in my head last week and lingers into this week is “never give up”.
