Do You Have Change to Give
Change is such an important thing to have in our lives.  I met a guy without any … he was asking for some of mine. I gave him all that I had, but am pretty sure it was not enough to make a significant difference for him. What he really needed and what we all really need is lots and lots of all sorts of change to keep us in the game. The more types of change we experience and gain in our lives the more positive change we can offer the world that is in desperate need of it.

When you walk down the city streets, and you come upon a person with their hand out asking for change, do you say “no thanksâ€, or do you dig down in your pocket and give all you can? My kids Think I’m crazy. On our vacation to San Francisco, whenever someone asked for spare change, if it was in my pocket, I gave all of it to that person. I must have distributed more than $30 in change over a weeks time. It’s what I do. I believe in Karma. My kids believe in McDonalds. : ) SCOTT

well, you tickled my funny bone this morning my friend. I am the oldest worker in my department and they all complain that I embrace change more than any of them do and I do so relatively quickly. It seem to me that people in our field don’t get it. The electronic techno field changes extremely quickly - the new toys and gadgets come out daily. As a market stimulated and moved by youth and youngsters, who buy and use this stuff, it becomes old as quickly as it comes out. Primarily from boredom which results in development of more new stuff (professional term). You don’t always have to embrace the change but it cannot be ignored either. As technical support we need to be keenly aware of new and different and how fast it moves on. MySpace and Facebook are
declining in popularity, twitter is loosing people and will move on out, even Linkedin is declining from favor… it is like the flavor of the month, you get it, you try it, you use it up and move forward. In a disposable society that is as inevitable as death and taxes, which ever you prefer first. Thanks for the chuckle head moment. ella

Great story Kirk…
And I think the most interesting thing about this point is that I think in all of us our ability to change and openness to it is the most important area of change that we all need to change! So often we surely miss the opportunities to change for the better because our capacity to change hasn’t changed enough. I really want to change how capable I am of change… so I don’t get short changed!
