Let Go - Be the Nobler Sort
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. ~– Lao Tzu
The nobler sort of man emphasizes the good qualities in others, and does not accentuate the bad. The inferior does the reverse.  ~ — Confucius (551-479 BC) Chinese Philosopher
There are far too many people willing to be inferior….let’s be the nobler sort. ~ Kirk

This is perfect timing! I have a manager who is a good person but can only see black and white. He has a project that is behind schedule and when suggested to brainstorm ideas to get back on track - I get a blank stare. His only response is “this part is yours, get it done, work more hours” and then leaves at 4:45. I just realized I had been missing this difference between us so I know I need a new approach. Your email confirms it.
Thank you

This reminds me of something I came across recently; I’m afraid I can’t give it proper attribution, but it goes like this:
“We are to fix ourselves and love others, not vice versa.”
Good thought.
Thanks.
By the way, Jason Hewlett says to tell you hi. He did a benefit performance for our High School honor choir to help raise money for their spring trip. Quite a guy!
