But we must look toward it. It's not always there at the same time. I have learned from Sorrow that Life is more beautiful because of the contrast between Sorrow and Pleasure. I have learned from Sorrow that you can't have one without the other. If your life has thus far been "charmed", without worry or regret...your time is coming. My life has had much Sorrow in it, sometimes more than my fair share I think, but it makes me look to Heaven with that much more anticipation. I have learned from Sorrow that there is Pleasure in pain. But we must look toward it. It’s not always there at the same time.

It is so true and very encouraging, especially to realize that the last (however long it's been or will be) spent with Sorrow will not be a waste. It is true that we learn more about ourselves, our strengths, our relationships, and even grow during our visits with Sorrow. But I am hopeful that these are just visits and that there is still time to visit with Pleasure too. Thanks for sharing this quote.
