Hi Kirk,
Thanks for sharing the article about Charlie " Tremendous" Jones. I want to challenge my 13 year old daughter in the same fashion. Is there any chance that you could send along a copy of the book list? Thanks for your inspirational postings. I hope you have a tremendous day!

If we could get his list that would be great. If not can we come up with a list of our own.

Again, Kirk, this one hits home! I am inspired, and like Teresa, must ask for your recommended list of great books. At my age (50+) I am embarassed but must admit that I cannot challenge my grandsons to read that which I have not read myself!

With every year that passes, I am more convinced that I am a sum of the choices I have made...to read great works (whether volumes or simple essays) to surround myself with great people, to humbly look for opportunities to serve others, and to acknowledge God as the Creator and Sustainer of life.

Thanks for sharing and for being one of the great people that influences my life!

This T4D is one of the best I have ever read. I have already sent it to my 3 adult sons. I hope and pray that they too will challenge their kids, [ my precious grandchildern] to read great book, surround themselves with sucessful people and keep God and his Book in the center of their lives... Thanks for share ....Denny

Could you tell me how to get a list of the books he had his son read?

I would like to read some of them as well. Good reading is critical for adults as well.

Excellent! I'll be sharing this with my 7th grader this evening around the dinner table. Check in with me in about 10 years...I'll let you know how I (and he) made out! ...Roger
