Fun With Failure on Fry Day

Let’s mix it up today with a little wisdom and an attempt at a little Friday Fun (a very little attempt).

First a lovely quote from Dennis Waitley… that has helped me maintain or regain perspective more than once.

“Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” ~ Dennis Waitley

Unless you let them…

And now a little play on words as we head into the weekend on this Fryday!

  1. On the topic of failure as a teacher, next up in the queue for me on Audible, after ‘The Ideal Team Player’ by Patrick Lencioni, is a book a friend recently recommended, called ‘The Obstacle is the Way: The Timeless Art of Turning Trials Into Triumph’… I know that it’s the only way I’ve ever progressed in anything and actually turning it into a practice and making it a focus in habit of actually implementing something seems crucial to me to take it from ‘lofty ideal’ to something real.

    Thanks as always Kirk,
    Daniel
